For a short padel break, the airport-to-hotel journey matters more than it would on a two-week holiday. Lose half a day to fragmented transport and the whole trip immediately feels shorter.
Padel Paradise uses Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport as the arrival point for hosted Jávea trips and arranges private group transfers from there.
How long is Alicante Airport to Jávea?
The current Padel Paradise itinerary allows approximately 1 hour 15 minutes for the private road transfer to Jávea. Real journey time varies with traffic, time of day and the hotel location, so it is sensible to treat that as a planning estimate rather than a guarantee.
Can you travel by public transport?
Yes, but it is less direct for a group carrying luggage and padel bags. Aena confirms that the C6 bus connects Alicante Airport with Alicante city centre. Aena also notes that the C6 links with the coastal TRAM network, which runs towards Benidorm and Dénia.
That system is useful for independent travellers who are happy to make connections. It is not the same as stepping off a flight and travelling together directly to your hotel in Jávea.
Why private transfer works better for a padel group

- Rackets and larger sports luggage are planned for.
- No one needs to work out connections after a flight.
- The organiser knows where everyone is.

What if people fly from different UK airports?
That is normal. Flights are deliberately not bundled into the Padel Paradise price, so guests can choose the UK departure that suits them. The important part is sharing arrival details early enough for the ground transfer plan to be built around the group.
What happens after arrival?
Once in Jávea, the hosted trip continues with 4★ hotel check-in and the first evening meal. Local transport for the padel sessions and planned group movements is handled during the stay, so there is no need to hire cars simply to make the itinerary work.
Planning the return to Alicante
Return transfers are included. Depending on flight times, day four can allow a final padel session or a relaxed morning before the group leaves for the airport. The transfer time should always include a sensible margin for check-in and traffic.
The aim is simple
Jávea is close enough to Alicante for a four-day break to work well, but far enough away to feel like a destination in its own right. A private transfer protects the part that makes a short trip valuable: time together in Jávea, not time working out transport.
